DAY TWO!
This morning we left for Bristol. Our gig was at 5pm in a wee pub called The Imp. After a FIVE HOUR car journey we finally made it to our destination and were greeted with the beautiful delights of Anna’s cousin (also Anna) and her friends! What a pleasant way to start a gig in a town we’ve never played before!
We met Mark, our host for this afternoon’s gig, and he kicked things off with a few of his own numbers. The bar was not too busy but just a nice amount of punters in for a pint and some tunes!
After our performances we had a good few folk come up and chat to us, one of which was trying to CONVINCE US ALL to move our whole life over to Bristol…and do you know what? It’s tempting!
I’ve only been here for four hours and I am loving the vibe already. There are three music festivals on in the city this weekend and we also have two other gigs to go here!!!
Hopefully tomorrow and Monday we will see some familiar faces and get to know some more amazing Bristolians!
Unfortunately baby ginge (Mike) will be leaving us tomorrow to head back to London but myself and Anna will be flying the orange flag…!
Tomorrow we are at The Golden Guinea from 8pm
Monday we are playing at Mr Wolfs!
