Good morning folks :)
Last night was our launch night of The Working Out Of Town Tour! We played at The Torriano Bar in Kentish town, and what a great night it was!!
Anna MacDonald and Mike Nisbet played beautiful sets, such an amazing way to start the tour with two of he nicest and most talented people I have met.
Everyone that came down to see us is an absolute legend and I am so thankful you left your house, got a bus/tube/taxi (haha, taxi in London, haha) to see us perform and celebrate our launch!!
As part of my set last night I asked for some audience participation. I wanted a way to break through my comfort barrier on the first night and get right into the audience, I am tired of feeling nervous before shows! So I decided I wasted to recreate my E.P. cover..
…so I asked all the audience to sign my face.
In between each song I headed into the crowd of twenty armed with two eyeliner pens. Everyone was SO up for it and I got a little ‘moment’ with most of them as they penned me :)
Oh I also went on a bit of a selfie mission with everyone too!
So I’d like to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for making our first night so special. Thank you to Lost Horizons Folk Club who put on the night for us and helped us promote it all.
A lovely start to what I hope to be a fucking amazing tour!
